During the COVID pandemic, some of our meetings and open fibre nights (see below) have been held on zoom. This is communicated by email several days in advance of our meetings.
Open Fibre Night: This gathering happens year-round on the fourth Thursday evening of the month and is open to the public. We meet in the Weaving Room at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m . Anyone with an interest in handmade crafts is encouraged to bring their portable works in progress to work on as we visit, or if you have nothing to bring, just come to visit and be inspired!
RWSG members organize special interest groups who
meet to study spinning, weaving and surface design.
Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, some of our meetings have been held in person with strict safety protocols followed. Many have joined in on Zoom.
Everyone is welcome to join us.
